Good Bye Christiane

On June 18 Christiane will be leaving her position as Fund Development Assistant at L’Arche Greater Vancouver.  She has accomplished much for the department in the last 18 months. We are grateful for her dedication to the community and development of this position.

Christiane’s laughter, gentleness and unflappable demeanor will be missed.  She made many friends in the community and we want to wish her well in her new adventure.  We are excited for her as she follows God’s leading on her missions trip to Trinidad and St. Lucia.

On Wednesday, June 16 we had the opportunity to give her our blessing as she embarks on this part of her journey.

A Blessing for Christiane

Christiane’s L’Arche story started before she came to our community as her sister lives in the L’Arche Ottawa community.  There is more far more to this story which Christiane will be sharing it at our Ark Builders Brunch and in our next newsletter.

“I am overwhelmed by the blessings I have received during my time at L’Arche. I am grateful for the lessons learned, the laughter and the relationships I will carry with me on my journey.  I would especially like to thank Sig, who I had the honour of supporting in her role as the Director of Fund Development, for being an inspiring teacher and friend.”

Bonne chance and many blessings on your journey Christiane!
