38th Anniversary Celebration!

Happy Birthday L’Arche GreaterVancouver!

On Saturday, April 28, L’Arche Greater Vancouver celebrated its 38th birthday with an evening of celebration at South Burnaby United Church Hall. The event was a fantastic success, complete with music, dancing, cake, and coffee!

During the event, there was a short presentation featuring some of the acts of kindness performed by members of our community as a part of our 38 Ways to Celebrate project, in celebration of L’Arche’s birthday.  Ilonka and Jenn making cookies for their neighbours, Sig delivering cupcakes to construction workers, and Mary creating cards for the receptionists at the Bonsor Recreation Centre, were a few of the stories shared on Saturday.

Thank you to everyone who attended the anniversary celebration. Everyone in the community had a wonderful time dancing to great music and enjoying coffee and cake, all while catching up with friends.  We would also like to extend a special thank you to the band, Rock Hard, for entertaining us with such fantastic music! Finally, a HUGE thank you to Daniel and the party planning committee for all of their hard work planning this event.
